Cammies is a licensed restaurant providing a tailored dining experience. Our menus combine fresh Northeast seafood dishes with unique, culinary initiatives from across the globe. We take pleasure in discovering authentic worldwide recipes and offer a fusion of styles alongside an extensive variety of traditional seafood platters, including shellfish.
We pride ourselves on providing a friendly service within a beautiful, rustic ambiance, in informal or formal settings according to your needs, home away from home.
Cammies restaurant comfortably accommodates 80 diners with room for a further 80 in our adjoining function suite. We also have a becalming decking area for those looking to step outside to take in the fresh Aberdeenshire sea breeze.
We’re housed in a period building dating back to 1900, the original granite foundation stone remains as the bedrock of our home, we located in Cammachmore, 9 miles south of Aberdeen, a stone’s throw from the A92, halfway between Portlethen and Stonehaven.

Managing Director
Nalin Abayratne, having relocated himself in Aberdeen in late 2012, engaging in ship management activities, realized the scope and demands that existed for an authentic fusion-style seafood restaurant. Being a seafarer for over 25 years of which being Master Mariner for a decade, good food, and friendly people skills, have always been his passion.
Punya Samarakoon
Manager Projects and Business Development
Punya Samarakoon, a journalist and PR professional, joined Prime Gulf Enterprises in 2022. She became an initiative team member of Cammies project, carrying out administrative tasks, public relation and publicity management projects. With years of professional experience and post graduate qualifications from Sri Lanka and Scotland, Punya committed to approach sustainability of the business and satisfaction of the customers.
